[Tear had made it a point to not go out more than she had to when the flood of people started, even knowing the slim chances of coming across someone she knew. But today she decided to chance it, frankly because staying home with little to do didn't suit her.

Her destination is the flower shop, partially because she hopes that few people aren't visiting it during this uproar, simply searching among the blossoms for anything she may like. Afterward is when she decides to chance the bakery, but surely with this many people it would be visited often...]

Flowers are usually given as gifts, so I don't see what would be inappropriate about that. Unless... some say that certain flowers have meanings that can be attributed to them, but not everyone is familiar with that aspect either.

So it would come down to preference - who the gift is for, and I suppose, your intentions behind it.

I've heard of that, of some flowers having meanings. [She'd found out about that here in Luceti, and it was part of what made her hesitant about gifting them now.]

Do you think there would be books on the specific meanings in the library? I just want to be sure.

Considering people have mentioned that before, there likely is. I wonder if I should keep a few lists here as well, for anyone interested in that sort of lore...

I usually just try to find ones that may suit the recipient. Though for that I'd rather gift an actual plant than the cut flowers.
