[After spending all this time here, Tear has decided to finally give a go at contacting Nala. With the conditions of some of her friends after their mallynappings, and Natalia's own artes being sealed... She felt that it would be best to have some sort of back-up. Instead of just speaking, she thought it best to attempt using her Fonic Hymns to contact her. However, she's not aware that the journal beside her has flipped open.]

[Anyone wandering north of the village is welcome to come across her near Ammy's tree, or to overhear her over the journals and watch her get flustered.]

Wow, nice singing! What's it mean?

[k';alskdf;a'f Tear nearly shoots up in surprise, then hastily tries to compose herself now that she realizes it's Kurt. The blush in her face says otherwise.]

A word of warning, perhaps?

Oh, sorry. [He reaches up to grab a limb with one hand, then loosens his tail so he can fall to the ground in a crouch beside her.] It's annoying, yeah.

[Luke doesn't say anything just yet, just listens. He's feeling a little better, but he still hasn't been given permission to leave, so he's stuck here.

At least he has a familiar melody to keep him company...]

[And since Tear doesn't realize that the journal is open yet, she continues to sing the rest of the hymn, finding herself more at peace as she listened for the spirit.]

[So Tear is from the future... if her being cured of the miasma in her body didn't prove it, the hymn does. There's an extra verse that Luke hasn't heard of before.

But that seems to be all of it, so, unaware that she's listening for any spirits, he speaks up.]

[Ammy's tree, you say? Well then, hope you don't mind the tiny resident of said tree being your audience, Tear. She peeks her head out from between the branches and the blossoms, hearing the song lifting up. Oh, what a beautiful song...almost like a lullaby.

She listens through the entire thing, smiling.]

That was beautiful... You sing very well, miss.

[Since the poncle was so small, Tear hadn't noticed she had been listening until she spoke up. She's taking a few minutes to find the source, since it doesn't seem to come from the open journal beside her.]

[Right. She forgot not a lot of people could see her like this. Miyabi began bouncing down from the branches, careful not to dump snow on the poor woman's head by mistake, and landed on a very low hanging, this branch.]

[Who knows? Tear stops once she hears Nephry approaching, sending an embarrassed smile her way.]

-... Cirno would have said something. Anything. But she just can't find the words. Tear's voice just completely lifts her up. Even at the end of the hymn, she's speechless. So all Tear may hear is a light, happy sigh from the fairy.-

[The sigh catches her attention, looking around to see where it came from. A smile comes across her face once she spots Cirno, motioning for her that it was okay to come closer of say something.]

-She does come closer, managing to control her natural cold enough to actually sit next to Tear, leaning against the woman.-

[she just listens silently until Tear pauses in her song.]

[Another person who overheard? Not that she minds, it just leaves her feeling a little nervous since this voice isn't familiar.] Thank you, I appreciate it.

Does the song have a meaning?

[Even though it was still pretty cold outside, the areas north of the village weren't too far from House 1, so going for a walk seemed like it would all right. Ion was just getting ready to head back when he hears singing in the distance. Familiar singing. By the time he finds Tear, the song is already half over. And so, he closes his eyes and stands silently, listening to Tear sing.]

[It won't be long before she finishes, debating whether to try again. Knowing that Ion had heard would make her so happy, since she knew how much he had loved her hymns. It's somewhat bittersweet, really.]

[When the song ends, he lets out a content sigh before giving a small applause, just loud enough to let her know he's standing there.]

Oh, that song is - well the song isn't that familiar, but the voice sure is and even more so is the appearance when she starts to get close to the hill the tree (and it's smaller counterparts) reside on. She didn't know you were here. There's no way you remember - and she accepts this, even if it upsets her a little, but smiling despite the cold (she actually was jogging)

[Tear doesn't notice Haruhi approaching at first, being so caught up in the song and reaching out for Nala. Once she pauses long enough her shoulders tense, wondering what would elicit someone running toward her since some habits never go away.]

[Oh, well there's something comfortably familiar. Anise listens a while, just basking in Tear's hymns and enjoying the sound of her voice. When it sounds like she's done (or at least pausing long enough), Anise will pipe up from the journal!]

I haven't heard that in a long, long time.
