[It's been some days since Anise left, and for the most part Tear has been taking it in stride. She did feel sadness, especially knowing what the younger girl would be returning to back in Auldrant, but it isn't as heavy as she thought it would be. Perhaps it was because the last time Anise had left the enclosure, it had been within days of Natalia's departure and she had been so new to Luceti herself, so the weight of not having two of her closest friends had been that much more palpable.

But she knows better than to dwell too much on it now, surely the fon master guardian would be pouting at her like she so often did when she deemed her as being too gloomy. So she's going to try her hand more at something she knew she would have liked.]

If there's anyone who knows how to make chiffon cake, or is willing to help me make some... I'd greatly appreciate it.

[Her friend might not be here to appreciate it herself, but she could at least try to make it for the benefit of her friends who did remain.]

Or any form of baking really, even if it's just helping to taste it. Maybe later today or at another time.

[In the meantime she'll be making her way through the shops like she usually does, but she's drawing more attention to anything seemingly cute today, without even trying to hide it. And since Colonel decided to accompany her for a time this afternoon, some might overhear her occasionally asking him of particular items she finds even though it's more musing to herself rather than truly seeking his opinion.]

[How's this for cute, Tear? A strange new wolf has arrived in Luceti, and how is it spending its time? It's collected food from the shops. Right now, it's in front of a small group of birds. She's spilled seed onto the ground, and is watching them eat, as they profusely thank her for the gift. The wolf, herself, is simply calmly wagging her tail and watching them, looking quite pleased with herself.]

[This? Is definitely cute, and there is no way she can just ignore the sight even if she wanted to. The young dog at her side also notices, and he starts whining impatiently when she tries to approach, so she can only sigh a bit and sit where she is, calming him down and admiring from a distance for the moment.

But wait, the wolf has wings...] Um... excuse me?

[Ammy's attention is grabbed! And a look of surprise is clear on Ammy's face, before her jaw drops and she tilts her head.

Hm baking? I certainly wouldn't mind helping if you'd like? I-I do love to do so and I have a good few recipe books in the house.

I would appreciate any help you have to offer. It's an endeavor I was just starting back in my world, a woman I respect was teaching me.

Of course! I'd be delighted to. I do love to cook and try out new recipes is always something to look forward to. Have you cooked many things often? I-I find myself sometimes passing the time either cooking or reading up on things to cook. [ There's a prominent smile on his features and a content note in his voice. ]

It's always an enjoyable pass time to partake in.

I am afraid I do not know what a... chiffon cake is. However, I have been trying to learn more about how to cook food. I have done a little baking, though I usually tend to assist others rather than do it alone at this time.

If you would have me then I would not mind helping you as long as you help me in return.

I'm not entirely sure how it's made, but it does have a different texture from most other types of cake. In addition, in some areas of my world it was considered a luxury. [Or so she thinks, even with her journey with her friends she hadn't stayed in any area for very long.]

Of course I wouldn't mind helping you, Eleytheria. I wasn't aware that you were learning.

Ah, and yes I am, though it is really a more recent endeavour of mine. Tsuzuki has shared cakes with me before at the bakery. I find that I seem to enjoy sweet things, so I thought it would be a good idea to learn how to make them myself.

[The only warning for Cross's presence was Colonel's low growling, and while Tear was surprised at the pair of eyes looking up at her, she can only raise an eyebrow before shaking her head in amusement.]

I don't have much in news, but why are you looking at people suspiciously from behind the shelves?

[A grin passes his face as he soon stands up to look at her at eye level. 'Cause continuing to look up at her and talk to her from that position would be a little weird.]

[He does turn his head toward the growling.]

[Kouki's at the store, looking for anything new. Other than restocking on items he's running low on, he's curious to see what is new. Maybe a CD, or a toy, or odd gadgets.]

[At that exact moment Tear happened to be inspecting a pair of beaded hair clips—pink and just a bit sparkly, and of course cute...

Which is why her breath hitches when she hears Kouki even with Colonel moving beside her and looking at the stranger, still a bit uncertain about being caught with these things on hand.] Ah, Kouki? I didn't see you coming in, did you just arrive?

Do you? I wasn't aware of that. [Though part of her is relieved to hear from Jeb again, considering the last time they saw each other...]

Oh, I can help you bake. [Surprisingly, she's actually fairly good at it, as long as somebody is there to keep an eye on her memory.]

It's so much fun to make things together, isn't it?

I like to think so when it comes to this, though most of my attempts at baking have involved the help of others. [And there was a sense of closeness to it that, while she has never said it out loud, she has grown rather fond of.]

Though I don't believe we've introduced ourselves to each other before?

I've had offers to help or simply bake something, but none who know specifically how to make a chiffon cake. I wouldn't turn down any help though, if you think you can teach me anything.
